The toughest battles in life are often the ones that have the most to teach you. And in overcoming many, I’ve gained discipline, resilience, and a commitment to always act with integrity.

Right out of high school, I joined the Army. Growing up in Central Alabama, I knew early on that if I wanted a better life for myself, I had to change my environment. My two uncles were the first people I really looked up to because they had left Alabama and changed their lives. And they both had gone into the military. So I followed their lead, signed up at 17, and turned 18 during basic training on the firing range. That marked the beginning of an 11-year military career.

I became a Master Fitness Trainer and full-time Army Combatives Instructor, training thousands of soldiers across the world. I dove deep into hand-to-hand combat, human performance, and martial arts—kickboxing in Germany, grappling in Afghanistan, and training Muay Thai in Thailand. The physical demands were intense. Fighting, coaching, and performing at that level takes everything you have, but I loved it.

A lot of the resilience and discipline I brought to martial arts came from a much different fight I’ve been battling since I was 22. I’ve had over 100 cases of cancer and spent five years of my 20s recovering from procedures. There were many points where I didn’t think I’d make it past 30. As you can imagine, that gave me a different perspective on life. Each year, I became more committed to living life on my terms: doing the things I love, embracing opportunities and new experiences, and not wasting time.

Part of what first drew me to real estate was the limitless opportunity. It started with a student I was training in combatives who told me I was the full package: highly educated, in shape, and knew how to work with people as a coach and leader. But the one thing I was missing was a strong financial foundation. He taught me about real estate and showed me how to analyze deals and maximize my VA loan. I used that to buy a triplex in Colorado, and it turned out to be the best investment I’ve ever made because it showed me what was possible with real estate.

While still on active duty, I started investing in properties across multiple states. Real estate quickly outpaced my military income—I was giving myself a raise every six months. I got licensed in 2016, bought a property management franchise after leaving the Army, and by 2019, I opened my own brokerage. We built a strong team and managed over $10 million in assets. Things were going well until another setback hit.

During a Muay Thai training camp in Thailand, I tore my ACL. When I got home, I found out my shoulder also needed surgery. I had both procedures within months and spent nearly a year in physical therapy. Unable to keep up with the business, I had to step back and sell most of my rental portfolio. It wasn’t ideal, but those investments gave me exactly what I needed when I needed it most.

Having overcome many challenges, I knew there was a lesson to be learned. In running a team and building a successful business, I saw what worked and what didn’t. Now, as I continue growing, my focus is on being the best real estate consultant I can be: delivering a quality service, having the resources and answers to streamline the process, and ultimately helping my clients be successful.

I’ve fought to build the life I have through countless challenges, and in real estate, I’ve found the vehicle to create the kind of freedom I always wanted. I can travel to Thailand to train in Muay Thai, enjoy the outdoors in Colorado, and live life on my terms. That’s what drives my passion for this work, knowing what it can afford people when done right. And it’s why I fight for my clients—to help them build long-term wealth, invest in their futures, and access the same kind of freedom I have because of real estate.

When you work with me, my role is to help you make smart, confident real estate decisions—whether you’re buying your first home, selling a property, utilizing VA loan benefits, or investing for the long term. I break  down the numbers, explain your options clearly, and help you understand what actually adds value versus what isn’t worth your time or money.

I can walk into a property and quickly identify renovation opportunities, realistic costs, and which improvements will deliver the best return. For buyers, that means helping you see potential, stay within budget, and make choices that support your short- and long-term goals. For sellers, it means knowing where to focus effort to maximize value before going to market.

Throughout the process, I handle the details that keep a transaction on track, including timelines, negotiations, inspections, and coordination between all parties involved. I explain what matters at each step, help you understand your options, and adjust the approach when conditions change. Instead of reacting to problems as they come up, we work with a clear plan and realistic expectations from the start. The result is a process that is organized, educational, and tailored to you. And even after closing, I am here as a resource for all your real estate needs!

Sincerely,
